We’ve all been there – either being so tired you don’t want to physically go anywhere, or desperately wanting to have some peace and quiet all to yourself. Whichever situation you find yourself in, here are a few ideas of ways that you can make the best of your night and truly enjoy time to yourself.
IDEA #1: A RELAXING BATH WITH UPGRADES
If you are in search of some literal quiet time, you might find a relaxing bath appealing. Pop in a bath bomb and you’re practically at the spa! If you have a favorite candle to burn, even better. Enjoy this time to catch up on the latest edition of your favorite magazine, or even read a couple of thought-inducing blog posts.
IDEA #2: LET’S GET CRAFTY
Art is a form of relaxation to a lot of people, and for good reason. There are so many things that you can create, whether it’s with a paintbrush, pencil, or even some clay. Make some new decorations for your home, like some decorative canvases, or knit/crochet together a big chunky blanket, which is a super popular item right now. If you don’t feel like physically creating something, take some time to jot down some thoughts in a journal! Sometimes writing down the smallest of happenings in your life is therapeutic enough.
IDEA #3: WHEN IT DOUBT, WINE IT OUT
It’s no secret that wine makes everyone feel better. So unlax & rewind with a glass or two of your favorite wine and pick a movie you’ve been meaning to watch but haven’t had the time to. And while you’re at it, whip up a batch of homemade cookies or dessert. Treat ‘yo self.
